On November 16, 2024, the signing ceremony for the Fluorite Ore Capacity Expansion Project in Damghan City, Semnan Province, Iran was held, attended by Zheng Bo (Founder & CEO, Mystuff Group), Amin Ebrahimi (General Manager, Tehran Branch), Wang Xin (General Manager, Chongqing Branch) and Hasan Banaiyan (General Manager, Fluorite Mine Rights Company).

This cross-border project will first upgrade mining and mineral processing to produce high-grade lump ore and concentrate, then develop hydrofluoric acid production to expand into the fluorochemical industry, realizing efficient utilization and value addition of fluorite resources. It will form a complete industrial chain integrating fluorite mining, processing, beneficiation and fluorochemical production, aiming to build a Belt and Road Fluorine Industry Demonstration Base with an annual output value of billions RMB within three years.

Fluorite is one of the world’s important non-metallic mineral resources and is listed as a strategic mineral in China. As the primary industrial source of fluorine, it is widely used in aerospace, refrigeration, pharmaceuticals, corrosion protection, fire suppression, electronics, machinery, atomic energy and emerging fields such as energy storage materials and lithium battery separators.
